St Augustine Alligator Farm Zoological Park Photography Tour

April 10-13, 2017. 3 1/2 days. $999.00. Deposit $599.  6 photographers maximum.

Tour leader: Robert OToole

The workshop venue is one of the premier workshop locations in the US and our group will have special early entry each day and will be staying after park hours each night to take advantage of the very best light.

The variety of birds that can be photographed here in flight, on the nest, and with chicks is beyond amazing.  Roseate spoonbill, wood stork, tricolored heron, great egret, snowy egret, cattle egret, little blue heron, and green heron. Certain years there can be an astounding 800 nests in the SAAF rookery including lots of roseate spoonbill nests. This is an incredible place to photograph and a superb place for a workshop.

The tour will offer morning and evening in the field instructional photography sessions with afternoon image optimization instruction and friendly helpful critique sessions.

Please call or email for more information.

Workshop size is limited to 6 participants, so this small group size will insure plenty of time for personal instruction from the leaders. Compared to larger workshops these workshops will offer you great value for your money.

As the workshop leader I will use my years of experience leading tours at Bosque to make sure that you maximize your opportunities in the field and then learn to produce high quality image files in your computer. Teaching is my number one priority and I will assist and guide you to produce the finest images possible. I will be using my own camera in the field for instructional purposes and to lead by example by demonstrating the techniques being taught.
